DARRELL L. HARMON

Darrell was born in Lebanon, VA on april 4, 1957. At the age of 12 he gave his life to Christ. He accepted the call to ministry in 1975, at the age of 18. His pastoral leadership includes 10 yrs. In the United Methodist Church and 10 yrs. At Mountain View Comm Church in Lebanon, which he founded in 1991.

His ministry is one of encouragement and exhortations of faith and vision to prepare Christians for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom. He has a great desire to see the unsaved and un-churched come to Christ for salvation and renewal. This desire has taken him on the mission fields to the Ukraine, Guatemala, Africa, Austria and Argentina. The short term mission trips were very successful with hundreds of decisions for Christ, miraculous healings and churches being established. 

He believes in working with the corporate body of Christ. He works to bring Christians together on common ground because he believes that most of our beliefs are shared beliefs that should cause us to work together as the family of God.

Darrell has worked in the Emmaus Community since 1992 and he is an active member of Promise Keepers.
